Picked one up at the counter

Grabbed a tin after my cut rather than ordering. Glad I did. Light in the hair, easy to build up if I want more grip on top.

Proper matte, zero shine

Exactly what I wanted for a textured crop. Warm it between the palms first and it spreads much further than you think. No shine at all under office lighting.

Best of the two for my hair

Bought the clay and the kit together. For my hair the clay wins. It gives the messy separation I ask for at every appointment without weighing the front down.

Strong hold, needs warming up

Firm hold and a very natural finish. Straight from the tin it is stiff, so rub it properly in your hands or you will get clumps. Once you know that it is excellent.

Holds a fade through a gym session

I train four times a week and this is the only thing that survives a session and a shower cap. Reworks with a bit of water afterwards.
