1. The product
Buklot is a production-ready salon website sold by Mindscrollers LLC. We offer three plans: Buklot Cloud (a subscription at €29/month or €290/year, we host, monitor and update the site for you, starting with a 7-day free trial), Self-Hosted (a one-time purchase of €149, you receive the source code and host one site yourself) and Custom Design (a one-time purchase of €990: we design a bespoke front end on the same full admin, hosted by us or delivered as source you self-host).
2. Licence (Self-Hosted & Custom Design)
A Self-Hosted purchase grants a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the template on one production site. A Custom Design purchase grants the same licence for up to five production installs of the site we design for you (for example staging and production). You may modify the code, customise it, and host it wherever you like. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the template (modified or not) as a template or starter kit. The licence key is personal to you; sharing it may result in revocation.
3. Updates & support
Self-Hosted and Custom Design include free template updates (you download and apply them yourself) and email support. Buklot Cloud includes automatic updates and support for as long as the subscription is active. Support is provided via the customer portal and email.
4. Refunds
Buklot Cloud starts with a 7-day free trial: you are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel the subscription at any time, with no contract. Self-Hosted carries a 14-day money-back guarantee, provided you have not yet deployed the site. Custom Design carries a full refund within 14 days, provided the design work has not begun. We may decline a refund where the licence has been clearly redistributed.
5. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
Consumers in the EU normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. Buklot Self-Hosted and Custom Design are digital products delivered by immediate download: at checkout the buyer expressly consents to delivery starting at once and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost as soon as the download begins. Before any download starts, that statutory right still applies. Once it starts, the statutory right is spent, but the money-back guarantee in section 4 is a separate contractual promise and continues to apply on its own terms. Buklot Cloud is a service billed after a free trial and can be cancelled at any time.
6. Your responsibilities
For Self-Hosted: you are responsible for your hosting, domain, backups, third-party services (Stripe, SMTP), and for the content and lawful operation of your site. Buklot ships with GDPR and security primitives but you must configure and operate them appropriately for your business.
7. Warranty & liability
The template is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability for any claim relating to the product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Termination
We may revoke a licence for breach of these terms (notably redistribution). For Buklot Cloud, either party may cancel; after cancellation your site stays online for 30 days, and we'll provide a one-time export of your site data on request.
9. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the registered seat of Mindscrollers LLC, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the buyer's country of residence. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute amicably. Consumers in the EU can find their national alternative dispute resolution body through the European Commission's consumer redress information at https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/.
